Drink-Drive Demon Caught Triple Over Legal Limit in Ryde!
Police have nailed an uninsured driver cruising in Ryde who blew three times the legal alcohol limit. The motorist was stopped following a joint operation with officers from Newport, the Island Dog Unit, and the Armed Response Team.
Roadside Breath Test Shocker
The driver, caught behind the wheel with no insurance, failed a roadside breathalyser by blowing 101—massively over the limit. They were quickly arrested and are now in custody at Newport police station.
Vehicle Seized for No Insurance and No MOT
The seized car had no insurance and was also missing a valid MOT, landing the driver in even deeper trouble. The vehicle was impounded under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act.
