Woman Missing After Mysterious Trip in Silver Van
Katie Kenyon, 33, vanished after being last seen on Friday. Police say she left a home on Todmorden Road with a man that morning, travelling in a silver Ford Transit van (registration MT57 FLC) to Bolton by Bowland, North Lancashire. Since then, there has been no sign of her.
Burnley Man Arrested, Police Investigate
A 50-year-old man from Burnley has been arrested and is assisting with inquiries. However, Detective Chief Inspector Al Davies stressed the investigation remains open. “Katie’s disappearance is out of character. Her family are understandably very worried,” he said.
He urged locals to come forward, saying, “If you saw a woman matching Katie’s description, alone or with a man, or spotted the silver Transit van, please get in touch. Even the smallest detail could prove crucial.”
Family Pleads for Answers
Katie’s sister Sarah Kenyon spoke out: “It’s now a waiting game. We’ve searched everywhere and contacted everyone.” The family are desperate to find her and bring her home safely.
