Teen Left Hospitalised After Brutal Stabbing in Ollerton
Police rushed to a house in The Markhams, Ollerton, at around 1.30pm on Wednesday (March 15) following reports of a violent altercation.
A 19-year-old man was found inside the property with multiple stab wounds, including serious injuries to his chest and shoulder.
He was quickly taken to hospital, where medics say his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Fight Spills Out Onto Street
The brawl reportedly started inside the house and soon spilled out onto the street, involving several people.
Police have arrested five suspects on suspicion of affray: four men aged 18, 19, 21, and 22, plus an 18-year-old woman.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Detective Inspector Andy Hall of Nottinghamshire Police said: “This was a nasty assault that has left a young man in hospital with serious injuries.
“This was a distressing but isolated incident. I want to reassure the public there is no wider threat, and we aren’t seeking anyone else in connection with this.
“The level of violence displayed is utterly unacceptable and has no place in our communities.
“While multiple people have been arrested, our investigation continues. We urge anyone who knows what happened to come forward.”
