Three Shots Fired in Early Morning Attack
At around 2am on Wednesday, 14 July, gunfire erupted outside a residential property on Cyprus Street, E2. Police say three shots were fired towards the home, but thankfully, no one was injured.

Three Men Arrested in Related Raids
Fast forward to the early hours of Wednesday, 25 August, when Trident officers executed warrants in East London. Two men, aged 44 and 31, were arrested in E14 on suspicion of attempted murder. A third man, 24, was nabbed in E1, suspected of conspiracy to murder.
All three remain in custody at East 1 police station as inquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Warns: “Pure Luck No One Was Killed”
“The fact that this incident didn’t have fatal consequences was pure luck,” said Detective Inspector Matt Webb. “We’ve made three arrests but still urge anyone with information to come forward. Your tip could help get a lethal weapon off your streets. Don’t hesitate – make the call.”
