Emergency services raced to the Isle of Wight tonight after an 11-year-old boy vanished in Niton. Last seen at 5pm, the youngster’s disappearance sparked a frantic hours-long search.

Huge Search Operation Launched

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police called in every available resource. Officers scoured houses and garages across the village. A police spokesperson revealed, “A number of resources have been called to the area to assist officers on the ground.”

  • Volunteers from Wight Search and Rescue combed the village outskirts and recreation ground.
  • A National Police Air Service helicopter gave crucial aerial support.

Boy Found Safe and Reunited with Family

Relief came at 10.30pm when police confirmed the boy was found safe and well. He has since been reunited with his grateful family, ending a tense evening on a happy note.
