Double Tragedy in South East London: Two Teens Stabbed Dead Within a Mile

Police swung into action at 5.10pm on Saturday, 26 November after two separate stabbing incidents rocked South East London. The attacks took place in Abbey Wood on Sewell Road and in Thamesmead on Titmuss Avenue — locations just a mile apart.

Two 16-Year-Old Boys Found with Stab Wounds

Officers, along with the London Ambulance Service and the city’s Air Ambulance, rushed to both crime scenes. At each location, they discovered a 16-year-old boy suffering from stab wounds. Despite desperate efforts, both youths were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation Underway as Police Hunt for Links

Crime scenes remain cordoned off as detectives launch second murder investigations. Specialist officers are supporting the victims’ families during this tragic time.

Given how close the attacks were in time and location, police are scrambling to determine if the murders are connected. To aid the hunt, a Section 60 order is in place until 8am on Sunday, 27 November, allowing officers enhanced stop and search powers.
