Portsmouth Police Hunt Muscle-Bound Man Over Shocking Underpass Sex Attack
Hampshire Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a serious sexual assault in Portsmouth’s Buckland area.
Attack in the Early Hours
The horrific incident took place in an underpass on Lake Road between 3am and 5am on Thursday, January 14, 2016. A 26-year-old woman was targeted in the dark hours, suffering a serious sexual assault alongside grazes and bruises.
Suspect and Witness Call
Officers are searching for a man described as about 5ft 11ins tall with a muscular build. He was part of a group of men walking through the underpass at the time.
“We are appealing for this man or any members of the group to get in touch with us,” said police spokeswoman Julie Knight.
