Fake Cops Smash Into Caravan and Steal £1,300 Cash on Isle of Wight
Police hunting three men over a brazen burglary at Waverley Park Holiday Centre in East Cowes have issued a public appeal. A man in his 50s was inside his caravan when the suspects knocked, pretending to be police officers.
When he didn’t answer, the gang allegedly grabbed a gas bottle and smashed the door to get in. They made off with a mobile phone and a hefty £1,300 in cash.
Suspects Descriptions Released
- Three white males, medium build
- One between 5’11” and 6’0” tall
- Two between 5’6” and 5’8” tall
- Two aged roughly 25-35 years old
- One wearing a baseball cap
