Man Left Fighting for Life After Notting Hill Carnival Attack
A 41-year-old man remains in critical condition after a brutal assault on his way home from the Notting Hill Carnival on Monday night. Police officers involved in the Carnival’s security were first on the scene and gave emergency first aid before paramedics arrived.
Violent Attack in Queensway
The violent incident occurred at 11:22pm on August 27th in Queensway, W2, following reports of an assault. Officers swiftly responded and found the victim suffering serious head injuries. He was rushed to a west London hospital, where he is still fighting for his life.
Ongoing Police Investigation Underway
Police believe the man had attended the Carnival shortly before the attack. Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation, but no arrests have been made so far. A Met Police spokesperson said: “This is an active investigation, and we are working diligently to uncover the circumstances surrounding the assault.”
