Tragic Crash on Maidstone Road Claims Woman’s Life
Police are hunting for witnesses after a fatal collision in Chatham involving a motorbike and a pedestrian. The smash happened around 5.16pm on Wednesday 26 July on the northbound A229 Maidstone Road, near the Holiday Inn.
Woman in Her 60s Loses Life After Being Hit Crossing Dual Carriageway
The victim, a woman in her 60s, was crossing the dual carriageway from east to west when she was struck by a black Kawasaki ZX1000 motorbike. She was airlifted to a London hospital but sadly died on Sunday 30 July.
