Fake Coppers on the Prowl in Sevenoaks: Police Hunt Two Suspects
Detectives are on high alert after reports of fake police officers lurking in Sevenoaks. The brazen duo, thought to be imposters, targeted homes and vehicles around Kippington Road in a bid to steal cars and commit burglaries.
Men in Tracksuits and Vests Impersonate Police
At about 9pm on Wednesday, 11 September 2024, two men dressed in tracksuits, black gloves, and police-style vests were spotted approaching a property on Kippington Road. They quickly fled the scene — but their suspicious behaviour has raised alarm bells.
Police say this incident links back to an earlier episode on Friday, 23 August, when two masked men in balaclavas tried to nick a car just after 1:30am but failed to make off with anything.
