Sussex Police Hunt Witnesses After Sexual Assault in Eastbourne
Officers from Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported sexual assault in Eastbourne. The victim had a frightening encounter with an unknown man around 5:15pm on Sunday, January 7, along Pig Lane, between Fletching Road in Hampden Park and Willingdon Drove in Langney.
Thankfully, the victim managed to escape unharmed and reported the incident immediately.
Suspect Description Released
The suspect is described as around 5’10” tall, slim build, with short blonde hair and facial hair. Police believe he is in his mid-30s.
Police Heighten Patrols, Call for Witnesses
Eastbourne Police have carried out thorough searches near the scene and increased patrols across the area to ensure public safety.
They urgently want to speak to anyone who saw a man matching this description in Pig Lane around the time of the attack.
