Police swooped after a string of garage raids in Salisbury, with thousands of pounds worth of tools nicked early on November 11.

Burglaries Hit McQueen Walk

Just after 7am on Friday, cops were called when multiple garages in McQueen Walk were broken into. The thieves made off with tools valued at several thousand pounds.

Suspect Nabbed in Roman Road

Officers quickly scoured the area and found a vehicle linked to the break-ins in nearby Roman Road. A man in his 30s from Bemerton Heath was arrested on suspicion of non-dwelling burglary and later released on bail.

Police Urge Locals to Check Cameras

Detectives are back on the case, asking anyone with CCTV, doorbell cams, or dash cams from the night of November 10 to 11 to come forward with footage. They’re especially keen to hear from anyone who spotted a suspicious blue car in the area.
