Signal Theft Strikes Llanelli Depot Twice in Days

Thieves struck a Llanelli signalling and telecoms depot not once, but twice in just five days. On the night of Thursday, 28 January, raiders broke in and made off with a haul of signal cables.

Then, on the night of 2 February, the same depot was targeted again. This time, they stole even more cable along with several valuable lead-acid cells.

CCTV Footage Spurs Police Hunt

Police have released CCTV images of a man they believe could be key to cracking the case. Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises him to come forward.

“If you recognise this man or have any information, please text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40,” said police. “Quote reference 2100005413.”
