Thames Valley Police are hunting for witnesses after a nasty smash between a car and a pedestrian in Slough left a woman seriously injured.

Black Renault Megane Hits Pedestrian

The incident happened at about 3:35pm on Monday, 30th March 2026, right at the junction of Lascelles Road and the A4 London Road. A black Renault Megane Techno struck a woman in her sixties, causing serious injuries. The driver stayed at the scene. Thankfully, no arrests have been made yet, but the victim remains in the hospital as police launch an urgent investigation.

Police Plea: Witnesses and Dashcams Needed

“Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident which has left a woman with serious injuries,” said PC Kevin Rodney of the Roads Policing Unit. “I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward and ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
