Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Horror Crash with Lorry in Shermanbury
Emergency crews scrambled to a nasty smash between a motorcycle and a lorry on 1 Road, Shermanbury, just before 12.30pm on Wednesday, 25 June.
The crash sparked a full-scale response with police, paramedics, and fire teams rushing to the scene.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. The lorry driver’s condition is still unknown.
Road Shut as Police Probe Ongoing
The incident forced road closures, with motorists urged to follow alternative routes while investigations continue.
Police Hunting Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Sussex Police have launched an urgent appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward.
“We’re urging anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to contact us,” said a police spokesperson.
