Emergency services scrambled to Central Park, Romford, after reports of a stabbing at 4.14pm today (October 22).

An 18-year-old man suffered a chest wound and was rushed to hospital. Doctors say his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.

No Arrests Yet as Police Probe Romford Stabbing

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed:

“At 16:14hrs on Wednesday, 22 October officers and the London Ambulance Service responded to reports of a stabbing in Central Park, Romford.

One victim, an 18-year-old man, had a laceration to the chest and was taken to hospital.

Doctors have since confirmed his injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.

At this stage no arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.”
