Man Grabs Teen Girl by Wrist in Southampton Park – Police Hunt Witnesses
Hampshire police are hunting for witnesses after a man grabbed a 16-year-old girl by the wrist in broad daylight in Riverside Park, Southampton.
Shocking Bold Daytime Attack
The incident took place between 1.30pm and 2pm on Wednesday, 15 August. The teenager wasn’t physically harmed or threatened but was left visibly shaken by the scary encounter.
Police Describe Distinctive Suspect
The man is described as:
- White with dirty skin
- Aged 30s to 40s
- About 6ft tall, scrawny build
- Dark beard with patches of grey
- Missing a finger below the knuckle on his left hand
- Wearing a black hoody with the hood up, no visible branding
Police Plea for Witnesses
PC James Morgan said: “This happened in daylight with people around. We’re confident someone saw something or knows who he is.”
