Shocking attack caught on the Promenade

Police are hunting a predator after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted on Peacehaven’s Promenade on Sunday, May 7th. The victim was attacked at around 8:15pm near Capel Avenue. Thankfully, a quick-thinking passerby shouted at the attacker, forcing him to flee and potentially saving the girl from further harm.

Suspect description released

The offender is described as a white male in his early 20s, about 5’10” tall. Officers are urging anyone with information to step forward immediately. You can report what you know through the police online portal or by calling 101, quoting incident number 1547 of May 7.
