Teen Busted Riding Stolen Moped in Kensington

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Kensington after being caught riding a stolen moped, police confirmed today.

Chase Ends in Foot Arrest

The drama unfolded around 2:55pm on April 15 when officers from the Central West Basic Command Unit spotted the teen on the stolen bike. Despite trying to make a run for it, the lad was quickly nabbed on foot in Lower Addison Gardens.

Charges Include Theft, Weapon Possession & Drug Supply

The teenager faces multiple charges including theft of the moped, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession with intent to supply cannabis.
