Serious Crash in Cornwall: Woman Hurt After Collision with Red Peugeot

Police are hunting for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a crash with a red Peugeot on Greenwith Hill, Perranwell Station, near Truro. The smash happened at around 9am on Saturday, 5th December.

Man Arrested Over Hit-and-Run and Dangerous Driving

Emergency crews rushed to the narrow rural road following the collision. The injured woman was taken to hospital. The road was shut for hours while officers investigated the scene.

A 51-year-old man from Penryn was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop after an accident, drink driving, dangerous driving, and driving without insurance. He’s been bailed until 1st January as inquiries continue.

Police Seek Dashcam Footage and Witnesses

Officers want anyone who saw the Peugeot before or after the collision, or who has dashcam footage, to come forward. Contact police on 101 or email [email protected], quoting log 197, 5/12/20.
