Mystery of Two Abandoned Dogs in Bobbing Sparks Urgent Police Search

Two young dogs were spotted roaming alone at around 10pm on Monday, 2 October 2023, on Parsonage Lane, Bobbing. The male and female pooches, believed to be between 12 and 18 months old, were found without their owner, sparking concern among local officers.

Owner Missing as Police Seek Clues

Normally, stray dogs without identifiable owners are handed to the local dog warden. But these two pups’ circumstances suggest their owner might be missing, leaving police desperate to track them down and reunite the pets with their family.

Inspector Stephen Callow from Swale’s Local Policing Team said: “As the area is surrounded by countryside, we want to make sure the dogs’ owner isn’t unaccounted for. I urge anyone who recognises these animals to get in touch with us.”

Details on the Dogs and Search Efforts

  • The male dog wears a green collar and has been neutered.
  • The female dog sports a pink collar.
  • One lead is blue, the other green.
  • Neither dog has a microchip.

Police have scoured the Parsonage Lane area, including deploying a Kent Police drone, but have yet to locate their owner.
