Van ploughs through busy tourist hotspot
The horror unfolded in the bustling 1 Ramblas area, one of Barcelona’s busiest tourist spots. According to La Vanguardia, the van targeted dozens of pedestrians, sparking chaos and panic.
Driver on the run, gunmen barricade inside bar
Reports from El Pais reveal the van driver fled on foot immediately after the attack. Meanwhile, two armed men have holed themselves up inside a nearby bar in the city centre, raising fears of a possible hostage situation.
