Chaos erupted in Camden at 1.30pm on Saturday, 14 January, when police were called to a shooting on Phoenix Road, NW1. Officers, along with medics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.
Three Women and a Child Hospitalised
Four victims – three women aged 48, 54, and 41, and a seven-year-old girl – were treated at the scene. All were rushed to a central London hospital, with one seriously injured and taken to a major trauma centre as a priority.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We sent three ambulance crews, five paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic, and two incident response officers. The first paramedic arrived in around five minutes.”
Shots Fired from Moving Vehicle
Initial police enquiries suggest the shots were fired from a moving car, which sped off after opening fire. Both suspects are still in custody as the investigation continues.
