Tragedy in Bristol: Three Children Found Dead at Home

Heartbreak has hit Bristol after three young siblings – Mohamed Al Fil Bashh (10 months), Fares (10), and Jory (7) – were found dead in their Sea Mills home. A 42-year-old woman is now under arrest, held on suspicion of murder.

Shock in Quiet Sea Mills Neighbourhood

Police were called to Blaise Walk at around 12:40am Sunday following a welfare concern. Despite emergency services rushing to the scene, the children could not be saved.

Neighbours described the youngsters as “beautiful” and “always smiling.” Salwa Bashar, a local, said: “They were lovely kids, full of life.” The family are well-known within Bristol’s Sudanese community, leaving a lasting impact on those around them.

Dark Family Past Emerges

As the investigation continues, it has been revealed the children’s father had a previous domestic violence arrest. Authorities are probing all angles to uncover what led to this heartbreaking outcome.

A touching video circulating online shows Fares playing the ukulele while Jory dances with pure joy – a glimpse of the bright spirits lost too soon.

Community in Mourning, Support Floods In

The tragedy has sent shockwaves through Sea Mills and beyond. Local schools and playgroups have shut their doors in tribute. Avon and Somerset Police stress this is an isolated case. Chief Inspector Vicks Hayward-Melen said: “We are conducting a thorough investigation to understand the circumstances fully.”

Political figures, including Bristol North West MP Darren Jones and councillor Henry Michallat, have expressed their condolences. Avon and Somerset Police Crime Commissioner Mark Shelford has called for a robust inquiry into the deaths.

As the community mourns Mohamed, Fares, and Jory, police continue piecing together evidence while supporting the devastated family through this tragic time.
