Tragic Crash on Mountbatten Way Claims Life of Beloved Mum Kim Bainbridge

Kim Bainbridge, 51, from Buckthorn Close, Totton, died after a single-vehicle crash on Mountbatten Way on June 30. She was a passenger in the car when the accident happened.

Heartbroken Family Pays Tribute

Kim’s family shared an emotional tribute today: “Three boys have been left absolutely heartbroken following the tragic loss of their mother, and her friends are left distraught. Kim will always be remembered in the hearts of us all.”

They added, “She had a huge influence on many lives and was a happy-go-lucky soul who always cheered everyone up. She lived life to the fullest and carried nothing but love and kindness in her heart and soul.”

Driver Arrested but Released Amid Ongoing Investigation

The driver, a 32-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to provide a specimen for analysis. He has since been released from custody but remains under investigation.
