Murder Probe Launched After Fatal Stabbing
Detectives have opened a murder investigation after a deadly stabbing rocked Colchester just after midnight. Emergency teams rushed to Affleck Road on the Greenstead estate at around 12:15am on Friday, 11 December.
Victim Dies at Scene, Teen Hurt
Tragically, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead shortly after officers and paramedics arrived. A teenager present was treated for minor injuries and taken to hospital.
25-Year-Old Arrested
Police have arrested a 25-year-old local man on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He remains in custody as they probe the incident.
