Armed Police Storm Derrick House After Tulse Hill Shooting

Tulse Hill was plunged into lockdown Friday night after a man in his 20s was shot outside a flat in Derrick House. Police and paramedics raced to the scene at around 9.40pm, sealing off the block with cordons and armed officers stationed at the stairwells.

Victim Rushed to Hospital With Serious Injuries

The victim was treated at the scene before being rushed to a major trauma centre. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed the rapid response:

“We were called at 9.45pm today to reports of an incident at Derrick House, Tulse Hill. We sent an ambulance crew, a tactical response unit and a medic in a fast response car. We also dispatched a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance. We treated a person at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”

Police are awaiting updates on the man’s condition.
