M25 Chaos: 27 Protesters Arrested After Gluing Themselves to Road
Big disruption on the M25 as 27 protesters got stuck — literally — by gluing themselves to the road at two busy spots on Wednesday morning.
Early Morning Mayhem at Junction 3
At around 7.30am, 11 activists at Junction 3 caused gridlock by sticking themselves to the tarmac. Police swooped and arrested them on suspicion of obstructing the highway and conspiracy to commit criminal damage.
More Roadblock Drama at Swanley Roundabout
Just hours later, at 12.54pm, officers were called to Swanley roundabout. Another group had glued themselves to the road. Cops arrived in under three minutes and arrested 16 more for the same alleged offences.
All 27 are now locked up in police custody as investigations continue.
