Terrifying Ilford Attack: Car Shot At and Three Stabbed
Two men are fighting for their lives after a brutal triple stabbing in Ilford, east London.
Chilling Attack in Pownsett Terrace Car Park
Police rushed to Pownsett Terrace car park just before 11.30pm on Saturday after reports of a young man in his 20s injured in a violent assault. The victims were in a Silver Volvo when the rear window was smashed and they were stabbed.
Weapon Thrown in Nearby River
Neighbours say a weapon was drawn during the terrifying attack and then hurled into a nearby river. A second man in his 20s was found shortly after on Pownsett Terrace, also seriously wounded.
Three Victims, Two Critical
- Both men stabbed at the scene were rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.
- A third victim, stabbed as well, left the scene and later went to hospital. He has since been discharged.
Police Appeal for Info as Crime Scene Stands
Detectives from the Met Police are hunting for clues. No arrests have been made and no weapons recovered yet. A Section 60 order is now in place across IG1, giving police stop-and-search powers.
