Early Morning Assault Near Ashford Petrol Station

Kent Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was assaulted and a woman threatened near Ashford town centre. The drama unfolded at around 4:30am on Thursday, 11th July 2024, near a petrol station on Beaver Road.

Man Flees After Threats and Assault

Officers rushed to the scene following reports of a disturbance involving three men and a woman. Police say a man known to those involved made threats towards a woman and assaulted another man before running off. The assaulted man suffered bruises but no serious injuries. Thankfully, the woman was unharmed.

Arrest Made as Police Probe Continues

A 40-year-old man was arrested the next day in connection with the incident. He has since been released on bail while inquiries carry on. Kent Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
