Brutal Attack at Bar Tantra: Man Mauled in Smoking Area
A man was brutally assaulted inside Bar Tantra on Beach Street in the early hours of Sunday, 3 October 2021. The victim was in the club’s smoking area at around 2am when trouble erupted.
Violent Group Assault Leaves Man Bloodied
He spotted a family member surrounded by seven unfamiliar men. When he stepped in to check what was going on, he was blindsided with a blow to the back of his head. The attacker’s gang then punched and kicked him while he was down, leaving him with nasty cuts and bruises.
Police Hunt Suspect: Description Released
One attacker has been described as a white male, aged 25 to 28, about 6ft 1in tall with a slim build. He has blue eyes, short brown/black crop-style hair, and a goatee beard. He was wearing jeans at the time.
