Police Hunt Witnesses After Brazen Ashford Burglaries
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after thieves struck twice in Ashford, making off with a silver BMW and a stash of valuables.
BMW Stolen After Keys Snatched From Home
Between 4.20pm on Sunday 16 February and 9am on Monday 17 February 2020, burglars broke into a house on Constantine Road. They stole the keys and drove off with a silver BMW 3 Series. A leather satchel was also taken from another car parked outside the property.
Stolen BMW Spotted Near Second Burglary
The same BMW was then spotted outside a house in Cedar Close on Tuesday 18 February at around 12.10pm. At that property, watch and jewellery were stolen during the break-in.
Police Release CCTV, Appeal For Witnesses
Kent Police have released CCTV footage of the silver BMW seen outside Cedar Close and want to hear from anyone who may have seen the car or can identify the driver of a Ford Mondeo that was driving along Cedar Close around the time of the burglary.
