Brutal Attack in Kent Road: 22-Year-Old Left Fighting for Life
Victim Ambushed in Early Hours
A 22-year-old man was set upon by four strangers in Kent Road at around 3am on Sunday, 11 June 2023. The victim was just heading home when the unprovoked assault took place.
Beaten and Bludgeoned with Gas Canister
The attackers struck the man multiple times in the face and dealt a savage blow to the back of his head with what is believed to be a gas canister. The victim was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.
Police Hunt Two More Suspects
Police quickly arrested two people following the attack, but two suspects remain on the loose. Investigators describe them as white men, both wearing dark tracksuit bottoms. One wore a dark hooded coat and white trainers, while the other sported a black hat with a yellow and red logo, a black jacket, and a white T-shirt.
