Lorry and Cyclist Crash in Chatham Leaves Man Seriously Injured
Late-Night Collision Shocks Kent
Kent Police rushed to the scene just after midnight on Tuesday, 4 June 2024, following a collision between a lorry and a push bike at the busy junction of Addington Street and Addington Road.
Victim Airlifted to London Hospital
Emergency crews, including South East Coast Ambulance Service, quickly attended the scene. A man involved in the crash was treated on-site before being airlifted to a London hospital. He remains in a serious condition.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Officers are currently investigating the circumstances of the crash and urgently want anyone with information to step forward. Witnesses with dashcam footage or CCTV are particularly urged to help with inquiries.
