Fatal Smash Near Medway

Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly crash on the M2 near Medway. The horror collision happened on the coastbound carriageway between junctions 4 and 5, close to the services, at 1.36pm on Tuesday, 8 October 2019.

A white lorry and a grey BMW estate collided, leaving a man in his 20s fatally injured at the scene. His family have been informed.

Arrest Made as Police Probe Deadly Crash

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and is now in police custody. Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are leading the inquiry.

Dashcams Could Hold Vital Clues

Officers are urging drivers who were in the area at the time to check their dashcams for any footage that could help the investigation.
