Woman Critically Injured After Crash Into Tree in Tolworth

Police from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are hunting witnesses after a serious smash on Kingston Road between Tolworth and West Ewell.

Crash Details Emerge

The horror collision happened around 3.20pm on Tuesday 14 July. A red Toyota Yaris, driven by a 44-year-old woman, crashed into a tree just south of the A3.

The woman suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a south London hospital. Her condition is now critical. Her family has been informed.

Earlier Incident Linked to Crash

Officers believe the Toyota was involved in a minor prang with a motorcycle near the Ruxley Lane junction, moments before the major crash further north on Kingston Road. Police have already spoken to the motorcyclist.
