Victim Devastated After Discovery
The woman, in her 40s, was inside a nearby restaurant when the theft happened. Returning to her vehicle, she was horrified to find her essential prosthetics stolen and immediately contacted police.
Police Plea: Help Find the Stolen Prosthetic Legs
Inspector Darren Desa of Hammersmith and Fulham said: “This is a heinous crime where heartless thieves have stolen the victim’s personal property, including her prosthetic legs. This is extremely distressing for the victim.”
“We urge anyone who saw anything to get in touch straight away. If you know where the prosthetic legs are, please do the right thing and hand them in or inform police. They’re no use to anyone but the victim.”
No arrests have been made yet. Enquiries are ongoing.
