Teen Fights for Life After Horror Wexford Crash
An 18-year-old Leaving Cert student is in a critical condition after a single-car smash in rural Wexford. The local teen was found severely injured in his car at Garryvadden Upper, Blackwater, around 6am on Sunday, April 27.
Emergency crews arrived swiftly, treating him for a serious head injury at the scene. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he remains in intensive care battling for his life.
Community in Shock as Family Rallies
The tight-knit Blackwater community is reeling from the tragedy. Friends, family, and neighbours have come together to support the young man’s loved ones, offering prayers and heartfelt messages for his recovery.
A Gardaí spokesperson said,
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident, to contact Enniscorthy Garda Station.”
