Armed Man Arrested after Gun Wielding Cop Shake Down on National Express Coach in Southampton

A major armed police operation has taken place in Southampton this morning we can exclusively reveal. Ten armed officers from Hampshire Police armed response joint operations unit supported by a dog handler and other officers over powered a coach passenger on a National Express Coach at the West Quay Road in Southampton. It is understood from sources that the busy commuter services was bound for London Victoria Coach Station. Gun wielding Officers swarmed on to the busy morning services shout at people to keep still and stay in their seats. A man who was in possession of a firearm and a knife was detained by officers and removed from the service. One shocked passenger described officers with guns drawn boarding the bus shouting command at people stating not to move and stay in their seats. They than moved down the coach toward a man who they pulled out from his seat, He had a bag with him It all happened very quickly. Police have yet to release any further details about the incident that happen at the busy coach interchange in Southampton and they have failed to ruled out if the matter is terror related. A spokeswoman for National Express refused to comment on the matter and said all information that would be released would be through the Police. Update: From The Police : A member of the public called emergency services at about 8.15am this morning after spotting a man on Northam Bridge carrying the weapon. Police tracked him down before arresting him on the vehicle. Martin Enifan, 22, of Hutchins Road, south east London, has been charged with possession of a bladed article or knife in a public area following the incident and is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
