A motorbike rider was rushed to the hospital following a single-vehicle collision on the A124 Barking Road in Beckton on Christmas Day. The incident occurred near the junction with Arragon Road and Central Park Road.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 10:15 p.m. after reports of the crash.

Police officers were the first to arrive and rendered first aid to the injured rider before paramedics from the London Ambulance Service took over.

The circumstances of the collision are still under investigation. The A124 Barking Road remains closed in both directions as police examine the scene. Drivers are being urged to seek alternative routes, and delays are expected in the area.
