Emergency Services Rush to Scene
The North West Ambulance Service sprang into action, sending nine ambulances, an air ambulance, two response vehicles, an advanced paramedic, and an operational commander to deal with the aftermath. Massive Damage and Traffic Chaos
Social media photos revealed heavy damage to the front of one bus involved in the crash. Nearby roads including Sutton New Road, Reservoir Road, and Gravelly Hill North suffered major delays as traffic was diverted around the scene.
Bus services in the area were also hit, with two routes temporarily rerouted, adding to commuter disruption during the rush hour.
Investigation Underway
Authorities are now probing the cause of the crash. Meanwhile, keen-eyed locals have been sharing live updates as the second bus was moved from the centre of Rochdale Road, helping clear the blocked junction.
