4×4 Crashes into Waterlooville Home, Porch Demolished
Fire crews scrambled to Kings Road, Waterlooville, this afternoon after a 4×4 careered straight into a house. The smash happened just before 2pm when the vehicle smashed through and demolished part of the property’s porch.
Driver Returns to Home, Causes Chaos
One link="linked">fire engine and an officer from Waterlooville rushed to the scene. A nearby neighbour, who was out hedge cutting, told reporters the driver had come back to the property to collect post after moving out.
Unmanned 4×4 Rolls Into Porch
Shockingly, the owner had left the 4×4 running, unattended. The vehicle slowly rolled forward into the porch, smashing the front bumper and headlights. The porch took the brunt of the damage and will need to be completely torn down.
“There was no one driving it, just the car rolling forward,” the neighbour added. Luckily, no one was injured.
