Huge Payouts and Happy Faces
Twelve neighbours in the prime postcode BN12 4TR each pocketed a staggering £379,062 per winning ticket. The celebrations were made even sweeter when Jason Donovan, the lottery’s charismatic presenter, showed up on doorsteps to deliver golden envelopes in person.
Among the big winners:

- Lily, a grandmother who’s called the area home for over 40 years
- Wendy, who said her “wildest dreams have come true”
Trip of a Lifetime for Single Mum
Single mum Stacey, whose 7-year-old son Phoenix is battling leukaemia, scooped £14,816. She plans to whisk her family off on a dream holiday – an American road trip featuring a NASA visit and Disney World in Florida.
“I’ve promised my twins, Phoenix and Elliot, a huge trip of a lifetime after Phoenix finishes treatment. This money is going to help a lot,” Stacey said.
Prize totals across the postcode sector ranged from £14,816 to £44,448, depending on how many tickets players held.
Charity Boost and Community Spirit
Jason Donovan shared his excitement, saying, “It was fantastic surprising so many lucky winners with a golden envelope and huge cheques! The atmosphere was electric, and I loved hearing everyone’s plans.”
The People’s Postcode Lottery highlighted that 33% of ticket sales go to charities and good causes, with over £1 billion raised so far. Some funds support organisations like the Helen Bamber Foundation, Women for Women International, Amnesty International UK, and local causes including Home-Start Arun, Worthing & Adur, which helps families with young children.
