Firefighters Battle Fierce Flames

Four fire engines and around 25 brave firefighters raced to a derelict building on Maryon Grove, Charlton, last night. Two maisonettes on the first and second floors went up in flames.

No Injuries Reported

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the fiery inferno that tore through the abandoned property.

Quick Response from Fire Crews

The Brigade was called at 8:25pm and had the fire under control by 9:30pm. Crews from Plumstead, Eltham, and Greenwich fire stations worked swiftly to tackle the blaze.

Police and Fire Brigade Probe Cause

The Metropolitan Police and fire investigators are now probing the cause of the blaze. Details remain under wraps as the investigation continues.
