Man found collapsed, dies 10 days later

The man was discovered around 2:40am on October 6, 2023. Paramedics rushed him to hospital, but he passed away on October 16. Police say there’s no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Walking alone, speaking Albanian

CCTV shows the man walking along the street moments before collapsing. He was wearing only trousers, with no ID or belongings. In the footage, he can be heard talking to himself in what’s believed to be Albanian.

Tattoo clue could help ID victim

Described as a slim white male in his 40s, between 5ft 7in and 5ft 10in, with a shaved head, dark stubble, and brown eyes. Officers have released an image of a distinctive tattoo from his left bicep in the hope someone recognises it.

“We’ve checked missing person reports but still can’t identify him,” Detective Sergeant Julia Morrow said. “We’re also working with the coroner to find his next of kin.”
