Asda Launches Over 10 New Express Stores in London
Asda is on a roll, unveiling more than 10 new Asda Express shops across London as part of its rapid expansion. Three stores have already opened this week, with plans to convert 116 Co-op petrol stations nationwide into Asda outlets underway.

The fresh branches already trading include Dudden Hill Lane in Willesden, Ruislip Road in Greenford, and Uxbridge Road in West Earling. More locations are set to launch in 2024, all within London or nearby areas.

Big Plans Backed by Convenience Boss
Andy Perry, Asda’s Marketing Director of Convenience, explained the push:
“We identified London as a focus area for our growth in convenience, not only due to the size of the population but also because of the higher propensity of convenience store usage amongst Londoners.”
He added:
“Convenience is one of the fastest growing channels in the grocery market and developing our presence in this space is key to our long-term strategy to become the UK’s second-largest supermarket retailer.”

Asda Express stores are tailored for quick, local convenience. With up to 3,000 branded and own-label products, customers can easily pop in for everyday essentials and quick top-up shopping.
Asda’s store count recently hit 100 and it’s boosting its meal deals with festive sandwiches and sides, signalling the retailer’s commitment to staying ahead in the competitive grocery game.
