Wheelchair User Punched Outside Bristol Nightclub in Shocking Attack
Social media is reeling after harrowing footage emerged of a man in a wheelchair being brutally punched outside the BSB bar in Bristol’s vibrant waterfront district.
Horrific Punch Caught on Camera
The chilling video shows a man in a white T-shirt approaching a wheelchair user before being struck hard in the face by a thug. The punch sends the victim crashing backwards in his chair, landing flat on his back.
Witnesses, including bouncers, stand by stunned as the attacker casually walks off with another man shortly after.
Public Outcry and Police Investigation
The incident, which took place just after 1.30 a.m. last Friday, has sparked fury online. Professional boxer Anthony Fowler blasted the attack, tweeting: “Wtf just when you think you’ve seen it all, some s***house punched someone in a wheelchair.”
Other outraged viewers called the act “lower than a snake’s belly” and “pure s*** house behaviour.” One said, “How small do you have to be to punch a bloke in a wheelchair in the face? This is the most shocking thing I’ve ever witnessed.”
Avon and Somerset Police have launched an active investigation, urging anyone with information to come forward.
“The video has been widely circulated and viewed, and it is critical that we identify the people in the footage,” said Inspector Adam Dolling.
“We’re conducting inquiries at the BSB bar and surrounding area and urge witnesses to call 101 quoting reference number 5223064944.”
“We are also working hard to identify the victim and appeal for anyone with information to get in touch.”
