Massive Barn Blaze in Paddock Wood Draws Huge Fire Response
Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to a major barn fire on Beltring Road, Paddock Wood, Saturday evening. The alarm rang out at 6:49pm, triggering a full-scale firefighting effort.
Fire Engines and Bulk Water Carrier Battle Flames
Three fire engines and a bulk water carrier were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters, decked out in breathing apparatus, tackled the inferno head-on using high-pressure hose reel jets. The fierce blaze was finally brought under control and fully extinguished by 10:22pm.
No Injuries as Cause Remains Mystery
Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The Kent Fire spokesperson praised the crews, saying, “The teamwork and prompt actions of our firefighters were crucial in containing and extinguishing the fire, preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the surrounding area.”

Local residents watched anxiously as the flames lit up the sky. Farmer John Barnes said, “It was quite a sight to see the flames, but the fire brigade did an amazing job. We’re grateful for their swift action.”
