Biker in Critical Condition After Collision with Royal Mail Van in Finsbury Park

A biker is fighting for his life after a serious crash with a Royal Mail delivery van in North London. The rider suffered severe leg and chest injuries and was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Crash on Seven Sisters Road

The accident happened around 7.30pm today on Seven Sisters Road in Finsbury Park. The biker was riding a black Suzuki when he collided with a white Royal Mail Sprinter van.

Van Driver Unhurt but Shaken

The driver of the Royal Mail van escaped injury but was badly shaken by the collision. Emergency services quickly arrived at the scene.

Road Closures and CCTV Enquiry Underway

Police have closed off part of Seven Sisters Road between Wilberforce Road and the Central Park Hotel. Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage to understand how the crash happened.

Met Police Spokesperson: “Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision on Seven Sisters Road in which a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries. The rider was taken to hospital with critical injuries to his leg and chest.”
